This past week was the 40th anniversary of Kent State Student protests against war which was also a clash between 2 generations, those in charge and those who will eventually be in charge.  As a generation is measured by 20 years, we can see the transfer of power occurring again. the same age disparities. Following is a report from Al Jazeera about May 4th 1970 featuring people from that place in time sharing reflections for our place in time. It is apt to note that all individuals despite their positions around the gun barrel and direction of the bullet they/we have commonality, that we acknowledge today; temporary residence in a womb.

battle of Impositions, time tested connundrum

Shrimp Egg Foo yung with Avatar on Surround Sound were just what the Doctor ordered. Anthropology, History, Ecology, Miscegenation, Reverence, Eugenics versus peaceful Harmonious coexistence with Life in all its' celebratory permutations.

Demonizing  a population because of their skin color or physical bearing by adding a TAIL, is old style propaganda for fear sake upon  trusting ill-informed. My 14 year old nephew paralleled the movie to European dominion and plunder across the Land of Lakota. Fortunately he knows  what was seen in Avatar has and is what occurs everyday somewhere here on this 24,000 mile circumference orb we call home in space. Each of us receives temporary use of its molecular components. Pandora the planet, is what earth is, gifted. It is Doomed if left to the devices of  dominion.  Have you read about British Petroleum's Atlantis in the Gulf of Mexico? The Abuse  by a few over the all is call for abatement of ignorance. Can you drink crude? To save time please read You can't be neutral on a moving Train by Howard Zinn. Thanx to do no evil google, you can read it at your leisure, expand then share your illumination. Democracy demonstrates responsibilities through deeds which  began  with words of, by, and for the people.  Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness is a selfless daily exercise of mutual benefit.  Look no further than indigenous peoples.  They are the meek, the ancestors, the inheritors of what is left to rebuild.

They have what is important, Wisdom and  Reverence.  This has been handed down to contemporary residents who realize that Life is worth saving, which requires strength against plunder. The numbers grow in favor of viable sustainability. Courage will grow with them.  Pajama Game performed by Lake Park high school Theater, today, correlates struggles that transcend generations again, in timeless upbeat tempo.
A fresh reminder that others have done this before and that's why we are here now. Our obligation is to those who haven't lived yet.

Spaces to think, Students are important

Evenin',

A society that mistreats its' children carries forward problems that were opportune to solve. Democracy has responsibilities.

Quality Lazy Time

Memories of the Saturday evenings' music and conversation with friendly people in a well lit big room, filtered  Sunday mornings'  gray sky.  40 degree rain didn't matter. The bed was warm. Nothing was on the schedule. A weeks worth of leftovers meant grazing for everyone, all day.  Chores & Homework had been done. Itinerary was get good at being lazy. No plans just moments. Scrabble. Legos. Read.  Write. Look out the window. Diamond never barked and  Sprite never begged for a kitty treat. They went with the flow of slow. We became their pillows, headrests. They with their fur brought warmth to the calm. A well stoked fireplace eased the Day into Evening. It was good. Glad I was there. Should have written about it sooner. Nah!
