Letter to Congresswoman Maxine Waters

Response to Opinion in The Hill Blog
by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) 09/10/09 04:07 PM ET

Congresswoman Waters,

Efforts towards Universal Healthcare are !00 years old and counting.

It has outlived many who needed help with Health.

You have my support for HR 676, S 703 or better.
President Obama last night reminded me of his story about a Councilwoman in Greenwood, South Carolina who was known to chant & dance Fired up?!, Are Ya' Ready?!

Representative Waters, Yes! WE ARE !!

We are the adults now.

It is our duty to create a Healthcare System Interdependent with our Global Neighbors.
I have Faith that We Can do this
Sincerely,

President Barack Obama speaks to a joint session of Congress on health care at the U.S. Capitol in Washington on September 9, 2009. Obama is right: We do have a health care system that is unsustainable in the long term, and it comes up short compared to European systems.

hen you are sincere in your efforts, you have nothing to fear from criticism. For when you are sincere, criticism can make you stronger and more effective.
